Nursing Pads - How do I use them?
Simply put the white bamboo side against your skin aligning your nipple with the centre of the pad. Your bra will hold it in place.
We recommend changing your nursing pads frequently to maintain healthy and dry skin. The wet bag provided can be use to keep your clean or used nursing pads in until you get home.
Nursing Pads - Care Instructions
Our nursing pads are very user friendly, rinse used pads in warm water shortly after use and pop them in a warm/cold coloured wash with a mild detergent. They will happily be dried on the washing line or dryer on a warm/cool setting.
We recommend washing them in a lingerie bag to keep them together (otherwise they tend to stray a little like socks!) Avoid washing with vinegar and/or hot water as they can cause the PUL fabric to discolour and harm the waterproofing of the material.
Ensure any damp nursing pads are washed ASAP. Breast milk (while amazing!) contains a lot of bacteria so if left damp, especially during the warmer months/humid spells, there is potential for mould to grow.
Damp nursing pads should be thoroughly hand rinsed under cold/warm water to remove milk Proteins. Place rinsed breast pads into a mesh wash bag (avoid overcrowding) and into a regular cycle with a mild detergent. We then recommend line drying in a warm place.
Nursing Pads Sizing
Our nursing pads are 11cm in diameter which suit most cup sizes A to E. If you have a larger cup size or are a heavy leaker we recommend using our large Minky pads which are 12cm in diameter and have an extra layer of absorbency.
Our Products are made locally and handmade by us in Australia where possible. Some of our products are made lovingly overseas based on the availability of suitable materials.
Blanket/Burp Cloth/Clutch Bags and Teethers - Care Instructions
Our blankets, burp cloths are teethers are machine washable on a warm/cold cycle with gentle laundry liquid and line dried away from full sunlight to retain their vibrant colours.
For teethers and burp cloths we recommend frequent washing in a mesh wash bag.
Teethers should be used with adult supervision and inspected regularly before and after use.
Wet Bag - Care Instructions
Our wet bags are machine washable on a cold cycle with gentle laundry liquid and line dried. Avoid hot water and dryers as this can damage the waterproof lining of your wet bags.
Swim Nappy - Care Instructions
Our swim nappies are machine washable on a cold cycle with gentle laundry liquid and line dried. Avoid hot water and dryers as this can damage the waterproof lining of your swim nappy.

Returns Policy
For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
Where an item is deemed faulty please contact us within 30 days of purchase. You will be required to return the item for it to be inspected and can choose for the item to be replaced if possible or refunded.

Parcels are sent with Australia post based and generally arrive within 1-6 business days (WA and TAS are generally 10 business days.) Please allow extra delivery times for rural areas and during peak times such as Easter/Christmas. Once your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation including your tracking number. Australia Post will provide an estimate of your parcels arrival date.

MilkmaidMumma will happily replace any item deemed faulty within 30 days of purchase. We do not accept returns/cancellations for change of mind.
